This is the lockdown news we all needed.
Parks and Recreation will be returning with an all new episode next week and it's all for a great cause. The comedy show, which ended its seven-season run back in 2015, filmed a one-off lockdown special last week.
All of the stars, including Amy Poeler, Chris Pratt, and Rob Lowe, will return to the episode which was shot while the actors were remained in isolation last week.
Chris Pratt shared a message on his Instagram page from Amy Poehler confirming the news.
All proceeds raised from the special will go to 'Feeding America', a charity which supplies over 200 food banks throughout the United States.
Rob Lowe also posted a message online, giving a bit more detail on how the show came about.
Yes it is literally true, the Parks and Rec gang is back next Thursday. We shot a brand new episode, totally in secret on our iPhones.
It was pretty hard to do. The whole gang is back and it is to benefit a great cause for charity.
The team is back, the band is back!
The special will air on NBC next Thursday, April 30th.
