Netflix have been building a cracking backlog of movies on the site over the past few months. Every month brings a new selection of films to the streaming giants, with July being no exception.
While we already know some of the titles that will be making their way to Netflix in August, one of the best movies of recent years was added today, July 24th.
Released in 2018, BlacKkKlansman tells the remarkable true story of an African-American police officer who goes undercover to infiltrate the Ku Klux Klan.
Directed by Spike Lee, the movie follows Ron Stallworth, who is the first African-American member of the Colorado Springs Police Department in the 1970s. He wants to make an impact in the force by going undercover and exposing the Ku Klux Klan in the area.
He makes phone contact with the Klan's leader, but he is forced to enlist the help of a white colleague to pose as him when he is asked to meet in person.
Starring John David Washington and Adam Driver, it boasts a 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

This is a remarkable movie, telling an incredible true story. While some of the events shown are dramatised, the tale of an African-American man going undercover in the Ku Klux Klan is certainly worthy to be told on the big screen.
It is certainly worth a watch.
