Tom Cullen and his grandmother were reunited on Friday night's Late Late Show. The two had appeared on last year's Late Late Toy Show together. Tom won the hearts of viewers with his love of knitting, set dancing and his Nanny Pat.
"I can't believe how you're on. How did you get on?" Tom exclaimed as his grandmother appeared on a video call. It was her first time using Skype.
"Oh, I get many places," she replied.
"I love you so much. I can't wait to give you a big, big, big hug - I'll squeeze you tight."
If RTE want to put on an hour of Tom chatting with his Nanny Pat every day that would be fine with me. #LateLateShow

Tom, who during lockdown in Leitrim has written a book about his grandmother titled 'The Adventures of Nanny Pat', said the first thing he wants to do when Covid-19 restrictions are lifted is to reciprocate that hug.
"I don't know how I'll get down to her house but I'll get down there somehow," he said.
