Lizzo - Tiny Desk Concert
... another stellar performance from the R&B singer
Lizzo's 2019 has been a whirlwind. From sold-out shows, including one set for Dublin's Olympia Theatre, to critical acclaim, 2019 has been a whirlwind for the Houston native. Here she is for NPR's Tiny Desk Concert, or 'tiny ass desk' concert, as she puts it. She performs three songs from her latest album Cuz I Love You, and it's one of the best the tiny desk has ever seen. Watch the performance below:
Chance The Rapper - The Big Day
... the Chicago rapper's new album is finally here
We've been waiting for what seems like an eternity for Chance's album, and on Friday, he finally blessed us with it. 22 songs and one hour, 17 minutes later, it's safe to say it was worth the wait, even if it doesn't hit the high notes of previous Chance projects. Donal Óg Cusack on The Sunday Game
... a strange rant by the former Cork hurler
When talking about pundits lambasting the loss of 'traditional' hurling, Donal Óg Cusack delved into a strange analysis, where he likened their accusations to the "last remnants of British on these islands." We've already written about it here. A weird, yet very entertaining, part of The Sunday Game last night. Watch the rant below:
'I actually believe that type of accusation of disrespecting the traditions of the game is part of the last remnants of British culture on these islands.' #rtegaa pic.twitter.com/yKh42z1bM0
