Matt Damon is stuck in Dublin at the minute, and all by all accounts seems to be having a pretty good time.
The Hollywood star travelled to Ireland to film a new movie, The Last Duel, an adaptation of a Eric Jager book of the same name. It was set to be filmed in various locations around the country, but filming has been on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Damon was already on location when the situation began to worsen and has been here ever since.
While he has been spotted a few times in the Dalkey area and stopped for a few selfies, it's fair to say that the locals have let him have his bit of peace and quiet while he is here. That's just the Irish way.
They don't want anyone else annoying him either.
A New York Times journalist posted on a Facebook group of Dalkey residents looking for info on Damon's stay, but it's safe to say they were saying nothing!

Some of the replies in the comments were pretty hilarious.
The reported has now updated the post to say she will no longer be seeking info on that group.
No wonder!
