The Killers played the first of two gigs in Malahide Castle on Tuesday night and for one Dubliner in the crowd there was an amazing surprise in store.
Front man Brandon Flowers invited Sam from Monkstown in Dublin on stage, after he was seen holding a sign asking the band if he could drum with them.
Sam got his wish for the Killers' hit 'For Reasons Unknown' - and he absolutely nailed it.

Tuesday night's gig saw Sam from Monkstown invited on stage to drum with the band for their song 'For Reasons Unknown'. The drum line is one of the most recognisable parts of the song, and the Dublin man did a fantastic job with the band - with front man Brandon Flowers shouting "come on, Sam!" at one stage.

The man himself took to Twitter later on Tuesday night (or, rather, early on Wednesday morning) to share a selfie he had taken with the Killers' front man Flowers and regular drummer Ronnie Vannucci.
Vannucci will be quaking in his boots after Sam's assured performance in Malahide.
