Streamers have taken over pop culture over the past couple of years. From gamers like Ninja playing Fortnite back in the day streaming has now evolved into following the day-to-day life of these people as they walk around the streets entertaining people. It's immensely popular with young people and there's none more popular now than the streamer known as IShowSpeed or Speed for short.
Speed rose to prominence a couple of years ago as he became popular for his fandom of one Cristiano Ronaldo. Speed fell in love with Ronaldo and football as a whole and even made a World Cup sing ahead of the Qatar World Cup in 2022.
He's now in the mist of a European tour which has seen him travel through European Countries such as Poland, Romania and Norway and today he made his stop off in Ireland, but not to where you might think.
Most celebrities when they come to Ireland visit the major cities like Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway. However Speed chose to make his first stop in Ireland be Enniskillen in Fermanagh.
Enniskillen is a lovely town but not the conventional stop for a European tour I think we can all agree. Nonetheless Speed made the trip to Fermanagh and roamed around the streets of Enniskillen taking in all the culture the town has to offer, including learning a couple of Irish phrases and encountering and Irish Wolfhound.
However where the stream got really interesting was when Speed made the trip to a local GAA Club Enniskillen Gaels and learned how to play football.
The stream has over 2 million views on YouTube and IShowSpeed has nearly 27 million subscribers on YouTube. Him playing football for about half an hour could be argued as one of the biggest platforms the GAA has been on in a long time.
The highlight on his football session was when he went one-on-one with one of the lads from Enniskillen Gaels and was able to score a goal after the Gaels player slipped over.

Speed couldn't believe his luck when the opponent fell over and he was able to rifle the ball into the back of the net.
IShowSpeed is one of the fastest growing internet personalities at the moment and some people commented asking would he be attending the All-Ireland Final this Sunday between Clare and Cork. Now while Speed mightn't have much of a clue what's going on, the GAA could do worse than bring him along for the event.
If the GAA are serious about growing the sport then using Speed's platform to showcase it is the perfect opportunity. The pull Speed has right now is unmatched, especially with teenagers so it would definitely be a chance for the GAA to gain exposure and hopefully gain new sponsors too.
