More of this sort of thing.
Coronavirus has wreaked havoc in all areas of our lives in recent weeks, but some people will have had to call off long-held plans as a result of the virus. There is assuredly no shortage of social gatherings that will be called off, but those who had planned weddings must be cursing the timing of their big day.
So much planning goes into the big day and for it all to be postponed must be a real headache. That's before you think of the potential money that is involved.
One couple who were looking forward to their big day was Danielle Sinclair and Paddy McEntee. According to RTÉ, they were due to get married in Trim, Co. Meath yesterday, but had to postpone for obvious reasons.
The couple live in Scotland, where Danielle works as a nurse. While they will have to wait for their big day, the couple were given a special gift regardless.
Danielle's three sisters decided to go ahead with various aspects of the reception, including the suits, speeches, and dancing, all from their living rooms. They put it all into a touching video and sent it to the couple.
Absolutely brilliant.
We may have to stay apart, but this another example of how this whole thing is helping people come closer together.
