The definition of Accidental Partridge by Urban Dictionary:

When a broadcaster padding out a show or going off-script says something cringe-inducing or excessively long-winded while trying to be sophisticated or artful with their words, in a manner similar to the comedic fictional television personality Alan Partridge.

For most, all you have to do is turn on BT Sport and listen to Steve McManaman for fifteen minutes but the cringeworthy moments do extend beyond that.

Thanks to the genius of the aptly named Twitter user @AccidentalP, plenty of Accidental Partridge moments have to come to light over the years.

There's a wide and varied list to choose from. Between cult classics and newly found clips, these will take you down a road towards Radio Norwich.
