Ah, good ole GOT. A TV series that captured many of our hearts, until they took Arya Stark's needle and turned it into us with the last season. Shocking stuff.
Many will look back on most of Game of Thrones with great fondness on this the tenth anniversary of its first episode, in particular for the talented cast of actors it brought to our screens. From the ruthless Daenerys, to the cunning Littlefinger and ever lasting Jon Snow.
What you won't get in this article is spoilers. What you will get, is an in depth deep-dive into which football team each actor is aligned to, so you can really judge them.
Jaime Lannister - Leeds
A message to Marcelo Bielsa, from all Leeds fans. #LUFC pic.twitter.com/hqlcSHoJZL

Danish actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is a diehard Leeds fan. The Kingslayer has said in interviews he first went to a game at Elland Road when he was seventeen, and has never looked back since.
This strange voice mail/hype up package when Leeds returned to the Premier League can prove his allegiance.
Gendry Baratheon - Nottingham Forest
THE FOOTBALL SHIRT POD
For our second episode of the Football Shirt Pod, we spoke to Nottingham Forest die-hard Joe Dempsie - familiar to millions around the world, literally, as Gendry Baratheon in Game of Thrones.

When he's not playing the bastard son of Robert Baratheon, Joe Dempsie is supporting The Reds at the City Ground. Good on him.
Dempsie grew up close to Nottingham and is seen regularly attending home and away games.
Jon Snow - Manchester United
From one King in the North to another. 👑
Great to welcome #GameOfThrones star and #MUFC fan Kit Harington to Old Trafford on Sunday. 🐺 pic.twitter.com/0qZzhXgEm4— Manchester United (@ManUtd) February 25, 2019
The King in the North has pledged his allegiance to the red of Manchester. While the accent might be a giveaway, Kit Harrington has been all over social media photographed with United players. Ole, Pogba just to name a few.
He's not shy about it, nor should he be.
Eddard Stark - Sheffield United

The husky voiced, grizzly faced King of Winterfell has found the right club in Sheffield United. Sean Bean was born in Sheffield, and is actually one of the club's directors.
He starred in a film in the nineties called 'When Saturday Comes' as a Sheffield player that came from non-league obscurity.
Theon Greyjoy - Arsenal
“My fondest memory? I was at Highbury when Ian Wright broke the record”
More from @GameOfThrones star Alfie Allen

Brother of Lily, Alfie Allen, is a Gunner despite his sister's allegiance to Fulham. Allen moved to the London suburb of Islington at a young age and started supporting them, and hasn't looked back.
Ian Wright was his favourite player too back in the day, apparently.
Margaery Tyrell - Chelsea

— Timeless Outfits (@periodclothes) April 12, 2019
Natalie Dormer plays the powerful Margaery Tyrell, and she has sided with Chelsea as her team.
Dormer claims she has been misinterpreted as a Reading fan, which is a realistic nightmare for anyone. Nonetheless, she grew up in London and has supported Chelsea, and that's that.
Samwell Tarly - Manchester United
It's the Man Utd end of season awards tonight...
John Bradley AKA Samwell Tarly is in attendance 👀 pic.twitter.com/9HPbJJSU2M— Indy Football (@IndyFootball) May 1, 2018
Our first repeat. Actor John Bradley is a Manchester United fan, playing up to his on-screen relationship with fellow Red Devil Kit Harrington.
He has said he's the "biggest Man Utd fan you could imagine" and even presented Marcus Rashford with a Player of the Month award.
Daenerys Targaryen - Mo Salah

— Bleacher Report (@BleacherReport) April 24, 2019
Ah, here we go. It's the millennial way of following a player rather than a team. There's no evidence that exists to suggest Emilia Clarke supports anyone, but the one nugget of information is she met Mo Salah.
The most embarrassing part was Salah didn't know who she was. Shame!
