On first glance, tonight's offering of films on TV is very slim pickings. However, what's lost in quantity in actually made up for in quality with a better than usual selection to occupy your Wednesday evening. Little monsters, loads of craic. Still an absolute classic.

Gritty Northern England at its charming 90s best. Lots of laughs and passion. Never got the love or attention of The Full Monty, but possibly a better film.

Better than the original, and Mel Gibson at his best. You've seen this film 20 times but you know you'll watch it again tonight.
