Enoch Burke continues to dominate Irish news and social media spheres, as the ousted Wilson's Hospital teacher continues to attempt to regain access to his former workplace.
Burke was dismissed from his teaching position at the school last week, and was arrested under the Public Order act on Tuesday after waiting outside the school gates during teaching hours.
The fallout began late last year, when Burke was suspended after a disciplinary incident stemming from addressing a student incorrectly. Burke was then banned from attending the school by a court injunction - an injunction he then chose to ignore, seeing him serve jail time in December.
The ongoing saga has seen Burke attempt to regain access to the school on multiple occasions, and the sorry site of a lone man stood outside the closed school gates has defined news headline images in recent weeks.
He once again showed up at Wilson's Hospital school on Wednesday morning, despite Tuesday's arrest.

Naturally, Irish Twitter has chosen to try to find some humour in a dark situation, with some top quality memes making their way to social media over the past few days.
Enoch Burke memes: Irish public respond to Westmeath controversy
Irish rugby legend Brian O'Driscoll was one of the big celebrity names to weigh in on the Enoch Burke controversy. O'Driscoll made reference to an iconic Simpsons scene, and poked fun at the sight of Burke attempting to re-enter Wilson's Hospital.

The scene in question sees Homer banned from Moe's Bar, before he appears to re-enter the bar in disguise. It sums up the farce of the situation perfectly.
There were other sporting references made in the Enoch Burke meme-sphere, with a League of Ireland jab thrown out by parody account Munster Derby Facts, and a rather niche Mayo GAA FBD Cup joke also shared.

Irish Twitter is always the best place to have a chuckle along with current affairs, and the Enoch Burke saga has, of course, set the masses into creative mode.
The best creations have revolved around a range of parodies, from Mayo GAA, to Father Ted, the Premier League Years, and more.
I see Enoch Burke has returned to his school once more today, despite being dismissed.
In a way I kind of admire him.

January seen a dramatic end to both the month and All Ireland Club Final.
The month ended with Glen appealing the 16 men on the field with uncertainty that Kilmacud will even show up for the replay.
One man who had no problem showing up was Enoch Burke.
