It's only very early days for the new Irish Government, but they have already been met with plenty of controversy. The scandal surrounding Barry Cowen has been well publicised in recent days and is hardly the way Micheál Martin would have wanted to begin his time as Taoiseach.
In a completely predictable manner, the Green Party have also taken a bit of a bashing. Many within the party were hesitant to enter into this Government in the first place, and their popularity has already dropped as a result.
Eamon Ryan has been the focus of the majority of the criticism, especially after his use of a racial slur in the Dáil last month. This is unlikely to ease the attention on him.
The Green Party leader was present in the National Convention Centre for a Dáil vote on Thursday afternoon, when his name was called to have his say on the workers' rights bill.
The Oireachtas TV cameras appear to show him asleep in his chair, with the TD not responding to a request for his vote. He eventually wakes up and seems a bit surprised by the whole thing.
So there is a vote on the @SocDems bill to give workers a living wage - @EamonRyan of @greenparty_ie has to be woken up to vote AGAINST it #Dail pic.twitter.com/VCMT3HIzPt

Certainly not a great look.
