Dermot Kennedy posted a heartwarming video of himself and NBA star Jimmy Butler discussing Kennedy's songs before a gig in London.
In the video's caption, which Kennedy posted to Twitter, he described the lengths at which Butler had gone to to see him play just a short set, and how he allowed the American to pick the three songs he would perform:

Butler decided on two of Kennedy's biggest hits - Outnumbered and Rome - before choosing an Irish song that Kennedy had told him about in New York, but he couldn't remember the name of.
It turned out he was talking about The Parting Glass, which is traditionally a Scottish song, but is often played in Ireland at gatherings such as funerals.
Butler has spoken on more than one of occasion of his love for Kennedy and his music, and it highlights the astounding power and global influence of the Dubliner.
The 34-year-old Butler is also massive in his field, as a five time All-NBA, a six time All-Star, and is the main guy for one of the league's best teams, the Miami Heat.
