One of the biggest travesties of the coronavirus lockdown is that Daði Freyr and Iceland were robbed of their birthright to win the 2020 Eurovision.
The song 'Think About Things' was the best entry the competition had had in years, but it was unable to claim the prize after the event in Amsterdam was postponed for a year. Tragically, it will not be allowed to entered into the 2021 event.
One thing that did scratch our Eurovision itch in its place was Will Ferrell's Netflix movie Eurovision Song Contest: The Story Of Fire Saga.
In the film, Ferrell and Rachel McAdams play an Icelandic duo who take part in the song contest.
With Daði Freyr so popular at the minute, it is unsurprising that links were quickly drawn. Many people asked for a cover of 'Jaja Ding Dong', one of the most popular songs from the film.
He has now duly obliged. Freyr uploaded his version of the song to YouTube, and it will not surprise you to learn that it is a banger.

PLAY JAJA DING DONG!
To be fair, there are some decent songs in the movie. 'My Home Town' from the movie's finale is a belter in any man's books.
Hopefully Freyr will give that one a lash in the future.
