After years of trying, Hot Ones have finally gotten Conan O'Brien to appear on the show and he didn't disappoint.
The Irish-American talk show host is the subject of the latest edition of the popular YouTube show which involves host Steve Evans grilling his guests over a spread of increasingly spicy chicken wings.
Self-described as "the show with the hot questions and even hotter wings," the aim for participants is to make it through ten levels of spiciness, while fielding questions from Evans on their life and career.
O'Brien entered the challenge full of confidence, although noted that due to growing up in an Irish household in Boston, he wasn't all that used to spicy food.
"I grew up in an Irish house," he said. "An Irish Catholic home in Boston. I never saw a spice till I was about 52 years old. So I'm terrible with hot food. I grew up on tasteless food. So this is a whole new experience for me."
There are entire Twitter accounts dedicated to sharing epic clips of comedians being about half as funny as the guy you chill with at the bar after work while Conan continues to be one of the funniest guys in show business doing the silliest shit. pic.twitter.com/PVGyohlt41

Conan O'Brien takes on 'Hot Ones' Challenge
In the show, the aim for participants is to make it through ten levels of spiciness, while fielding questions from Evans on their life and career.
Should guests make it through the full ordeal, they are allowed to promote their current projects, which in the case of O'Brien is his new travel show on Max called Conan O'Brien Must Go.
After a trying a few fairly inoffensive levels of spice, O'Brien gradually becomes more pained, screaming at Evans while shouting "Come on, man, are we doing this or not?! Are we doing this or not?! What's the point of even being alive if we can't do this?!"
Conan Obrien on Hot Ones is pure comedic genius. He also has supplied us with the best video meme since Paul Rudd on Hot Ones pic.twitter.com/fMuLZRSTXB

Conan O'Brien delights internet with 'Hot Ones' appearance
As usual, the soon-to-be 61-year-old comedian completely commits to the bit, even as he struggles and hiccups his way through the final few levels.
He gives the world a new video meme by shouting ""I'm fine! I'm perfectly f*cking fine!" when it is fairly obvious to those watching that he is definitely not fine. At one point he lathers extra sauce on his wings, rubs it on his nipples and declares that he has "never felt so alive".
Fans on Twitter are calling it the best episode ever, while Entertainment Weekly state that it's a "truly unhinged work of comic brilliance."
The whole show is well worth half an hour of your time and you can watch it in full here.
