We are loath to say anything about Avengers: Endgame for fear of accidentally spoiling it for anyone but having watched the movie we have one small piece of advice and it's more of a practical thing rather than anything to do with the plot. If you really don't want to know absolutely anything about the film then stop reading now ... just a word of warning!
First things first, the movie is flippin' class. We thoroughly enjoyed it. In terms of a quick review, it's funny, it's action-packed and it tugs at the heartstrings; so it has you covered in every way.
Yes, there are some who have worried about the length of the movie but for us, the three hours absolutely flew by. However, what did seem to take an eternity to finish were the end of movie credits. Now this wouldn't bother us in a normal movie - as we'd be long gone - but as any true Marvel fan knows, there is always a post-credits teaser for the next film in the Marvel Universe. We patiently sat through the first credit sequence, waiting on the teaser to come but to no avail. Then we sat, undeterred, through the second sequence of credits before they eventually came to a stop and the screen went dark.
Is there an Avengers: Endgame post-credits scene?
There is no post-credit scene this time around. It's well known that there is new Spider-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy movie coming out next year but presumably Marvel decided to give Avengers: Endgame room to breathe on its own as the Infinity storyline came to a close. Anyhow, whatever the reason, take it from us do not sit around waiting for the credits to end.
Unless you want to see what the names of Robert Downey Jr's two hairstylists were.
