When it comes to the list of 'actors who are so good that I'll watch them in anything, even if it's crap' (it's a real list), the name of Denzel Washington is definitely at the top.
With two Oscars to his name and a string of incredible performances in the likes of Malcolm x, The Hurricane, Man On Fire, Crimson Tide, and American Gangster, he's the definition of the term Hollywood icon.
The same can be said for another Oscar -winner and mega star, Julia Roberts.
Well, Roberts and Washington are set to reunite for the first time since The Pelican Brief in Netflix's new thriller, Leave The World Behind.
In terms of the plot, Variety have said that the film is based on on the upcoming Rumaan Alam novel and the story revolves around "two families, strangers to each other, who are forced together on a long weekend gone terribly wrong. Roberts will play the mother of the family that rents a house and Washington will portray the homeowner. The story explores the complexities of parenthood, race, and class — along with how our closest bonds are reshaped in moments of crisis."
To make things even better, Sam Esmail (Mr. Robot and “Homecoming) is attached to direct from his own adapted script.
