Even Roger Federer can't contravene Wimbeldon's strict all-white dress code. The 7-time champion wore shoes with orange soles during his first round victory over Victor Hanescu and the All England Club has 'demanded' Federer change his footwear for today's second round clash with Sergiy Stakhovsky.

Serena Williams has also been told to wise up after wearing runners with an orange trim. Amazingly tournament regulations state that manufacturers must submit all clothing designs for inspection 90 days before the start, but there is often not quite the same formal scrutiny of footwear.
