All eyes in the tennis world were on Madrid as Eugenie Bouchard took on Maria Sharapova in one of the most anticipated matches for a long, long time.
With Bouchard publicly blasting Sharapova and labelling her as a "cheater" in recent weeks after the doping revelations emerged about the Russian tennis star, there was a personal interest in this match, and we all know personal beef makes tennis that much better.

Bouchard took the first set 7-5 before Sharapova answered back with a dominant second set that she took 6-2. In the third and final set, it was Bouchard who came out on top as she claimed a 6-4 win, and you could tell how much it meant to her.
