The top two players in men's tennis at the moment faced off in the final of the US Open on Monday night in a gripping encounter, packed with incredible winners and rallies. Rafael Nadal defeated Novak Djokovic 6-2 3-6 6-4 6-1 to claim his second US Open title. Below are a few of the best moments.
This 54-stroke rally on break point for Djokovic in the second set was described by Sky Sports commentators as "the best break point ever", which may have been a tad strong but it was an astonishing tussle in the context of the match.

Nadal has now won 13 Grand Slams, just one behind Pete Sampras. And with five years on Roger Federer, it is entirely possible that Nadal could match or better the Swiss' 17 Slams, though only if he can stay fit.
