After a disappointingly early Wimbledon exit and his decision to pass entirely on the French Open, Roger Federer looks to have saved his best for the year's last Grand Slam, the US Open.
At 37-years-old, the Swiss star has been taking on the 23-year-old Australian Nick Kyrgios in the round-of-32 in the Arthur Ashe stadium.
Chasing his 21st major title, Federer has been hitting the kind of shots that have even left his opponent looking on helplessly. Somehow making it to this low, low effort on the very edge of the court, Federer astounded the Australian who was certain he had claimed the point.

Despite his relatively advanced age, however, Federer pulled off all manner of incredible shots on his way to a 3-0 win.

Into the last-16 of the tournament, Federer will face plenty of stiff competition if he is to claim his 21st major, yet, playing as he is, it is unlikely many will relish the thought of playing him in a tournament he has won 5 times already.
