Nick Kyrgios has responded to criticism for his petulant behaviour at Wimbledon by labelling a former Australian Olympic Gold Medalist a "blatant racist".
Kyrgios suffered a fourth-round defeat to Richard Gasquet at SW19 yesterday and has been scorned for his poor attitude throughout the tournament. Among his critics is former Olympic swimming champion Dawn Forsey.

The 77-year-old was speaking to Australia's Nine Network Today Show when she said Kyrgios' behaviour was "absolutely disgusting". She also hinted at German-born often criticised Aussie tennis star Bernard Tomic when she said "they should set a better example for the younger generation in this great country of ours".
If they don't like it, go back to where their parents came from, we don't need them here in this country to act like that.
Kyrgios was born in Canberra but is of Greek and Malaysian descent, he hit back at Forsey and his other critics on his Facebook page.
Throwing a racket, brat. Debating the rules, disrespectful. Frustrated when competing, spoilt. Showing emotion, arrogant.
Blatant racist, Australian legend.
Kyrgios' Malaysian-born mother also had her say on the incident.
I have no comments on Dawn Frasers nasty racist attack...but she is out of line. #unaustralianbehaviour

Forsey has since apologised for her comments, she said they were intended "purely on sporting grounds". Despite his Wimbledon exit, Nick Kyrgios continues to make the headlines, if nothing else he's box office.
