American Jack Sock beat Chilean Christian Garin in their first round match at Wimbledon on Tuesday.
Just after acknowledging the crowd following his three-set victory, Sock threw one of his towels to a young fan sitting nearby in the crowd. He had appeared to ask the world number 18 for the towel just prior to it being thrown in his direction.
Despite it likely being ringing with sweat, the kid was not the only one who wanted a memento of the game. A much older fan, sitting directly in front of his younger counterpart, ripped the towel from his grasp.
What a douche move, kid clearly says, "Jack, can I have your towel?" Jack throws it & old dude is all, NOPE. #Wimbledon #Wimbledon2017 pic.twitter.com/HokKFAOf9i

The world number 18, who appeared not to notice what had happened at the time, subsequently discovered the fate of the towel.
If anyone knows the kid that unfortunately had the towel ripped out of his hands...tweet his name at me and I'll be sure to get him one 🤙🏻

In the end, it will probably work out better for the young fan: He'll get a clean Wimbledon towel and he's been offered towels by both the US Open and Australian Open.
He's just a French Open towel away from the towel Grand Slam.
If you find out, we'd like to send him a #USOpen towel. @AustralianOpen, @rolandgarros, maybe send one of yours as well for a Slam sweep?
