After the antics of Nick Kyrgios the other day, you may have thought we had gotten our fill of bad boy tennis stars. You'd be wrong.
Fabio Fognini has his own chequered history in the sport, and he could generously be described as a bit of a hot head. He was once thrown out of the US Open for some less than savoury comments directed at a female umpire, and is generally a bit of a tit.
As 12th seed for this year's tournament at Wimbledon, he was not happy about being forced to play on 'Court 14' for his match against Tennys Sandgren. His mood would soon deteriorate even further when he went two sets down.
He made his frustration known, saying he wished a bomb would drop on Wimbledon.

Is it fair to play here? Damn English, really. Damned, really.
Wish a bomb would explode on this club. A bomb should explode here.
Lovely. These comments came just a few minutes after he had taken his frustration out on his racket, smashing it off the ground and managing to bloody himself up in the process.
Early in the second set of his R3 #Wimbledon match against Tennys Sandgren, Fabio Fognini had to take a medical timeout...

Unsurprisingly, Fognini would go on to lose to the unseeded American in straight sets.
