It's one of the most polarising sporting incidents since Saipan, and it's still being talked about. The Welsh Open of snooker has never had so much interest after O'Sullivan rejected the chance to get the rare maximum. Snooker officials must have been delighted when Ding Junhui hit the magical 147 in his quarter-final loss to Neil Robinson.

Ding hit his sixth 147, only the 117th ever maximum break ever recorded and moves closer to John Higgins who is third in the all-time list. O'Sullivan tops the all-time ranking of 147's with 13, and after his excuse that the prize for achieving the maximum at the Welsh Open wasn't enough - he's had a cheeky word about Ding's break:
I just thought he's let the lads down, hasn't he!
Ding got it and it's fantastic. At least they've had a 147 this week...and a 146.
O'Sullivan is through to the semi-final of the Welsh Open to face Joe Perry, whilst Ding's conqueror Robinson is against Mark Allen.
