Kilkenny man David Morris has recorded the biggest win of his career by knocking world champion Mark Selby out of the UK Championship in York. World number 62 Morris defeated Selby 6-4 to move into the third round of the tournament thanks in no small part to a match clinching 79 break in the tenth frame.
Selby, who is also the world number 1, lost in the final last year to Neil Robertson before going on to defeat Ronnie O'Sullivan to claim his first World Championship in May. Morris will now meet England's David Gilbert in the last 32.
