Having become a crowd favourite in this tournament with his dancing and chanting so far, Dechawat Poomjaeng has enjoyed every moment of this tournament, and backed it up with victory over Williams.
When it was announced that last year's finalist would face Poomjaeng, it was one all Snooker fans were looking forward to. After a slow start, it was complete domination from Poomjaeng, jogging from shot to shot, dancing and singing as the crowd chanted his name, as he ran out a 52-12 winner.

One of the favourites for the tournament, it would have been tempting for Poomjaeng to tone it down a but. However, he kept the same energy that the crowd absolutely loved, as he enjoyed every second of today's win.
After his win in the Snooker Shoot Out, Poomjaeng gave a heartwarming interview as he appreciated the support he has received so far.

While Williams was disappointed with his defeat, he gave credit to his opponent for his win. "It was a great atmosphere. I had him in trouble, he fluked a red and made 45 and I had no chance from there.
He knocked in a good blue and made some good pots, and from there I had no chance."
