When it comes to enigmatic figures in modern sport, there are few that have been more entertaining than Ronnie O'Sullivan.
The seven-time world champion has almost become bigger than the sport of snooker itself over the last two decades, with his talent and personality drawing in a large chunk of the game's viewers. He is incredible to watch in full flow, bringing a huge amount of entertainment to what can otherwise at times be a fairly pedestrian viewing experience.
Of course, O'Sullivan is also a hugely interesting character away from the snooker table, making this upcoming project a very intriguing one.

Upcoming Ronnie O'Sullivan looks like an amazing watch
Sport documentaries have grown quite a bit in popularity over the last few years, with industry leaders such as The Last Dance and Diego Maradona just some of the releases that have proven to be smash hits in recent years.
The David Beckham release on Netflix earlier this month was the latest example, with the footballer's production company also having a hand in an upcoming film centred around the biggest name in snooker.
Fresh off their success with Beckham, Studio 99 will release Ronnie O’Sullivan: The Edge of Everything next month. The film will have a limited release in select theatres on November 21st, followed by a full release on Prime Video on November 23rd.
It will concentrate on O'Sullivan's participation at the 2022 World Snooker Championship, which ultimately ended in the Englishman securing a record equalling seventh world title.
The film was given unprecedented access to 'The Rocket' over the course of the tournament, with cameras going behind the scenes to follow his every move at The Crucible.
Speaking ahead of its release, Ronnie O'Sullivan said that the crew were there with him to capture every moment of what was a remarkable couple of weeks.
My highs and lows have been well-documented by the media but I felt like now was the right time to do something more definitive – something that I can look back and reflect on as I contemplate retirement.
Going into my 7th World Championship I wasn’t sure I had it in me but allowing the cameras in ended up driving me on in many ways and gave me a different perspective...
I’ve given complete access to the point where if you put a fly on the wall and followed me for 17 days, that’s basically what happened.
They’ve been in my dressing room, they’ve been in my hotel room before and after matches and sessions. I embraced it because whatever I get involved in, let’s just make it the best I could possibly do.
These snooker Gods, their timing is unbelievable. Last year I just hit fire at the right time when they (the cameras) were here, and the stars were written for me. They always have been ever since I was a kid in this game.
If there's any sporting figure that should be able to capture your attentions as the focus of a documentary, it's Ronnie O'Sullivan.
We can't wait to get a look at this one.
