In his first World Snooker Championship final since 2003, Mark Williams has rushed into an impressive lead against John Higgins in the first session this afternoon.
Leading the four-time World champions 4-0 at the mid-session interval, Williams looked remarkably calm in establishing a firm lead.
Coming out of a tight battle against Barry Hawkins in last night's semi-final, Williams revealed how he was celebrating his first ascent to a final in 15 years.

Well, he has been calmness personified during this afternoon's session.
During a lull in proceedings, Williams took the opportunity to take in his surroundings, spotting something he liked.
Proceeding to eat a fan out of his minstrels and what may be a packet of wine gums, you would forget the Welshman is in the middle of a World final.
