Mark Selby beat Adam Duffy 4-1 in the first round of the Gibraltar Open on Saturday afternoon.
The Englishman led 48-34 in the final frame when he found himself in a difficult position.
The only red on the table was stuck on the cushion next to a yellow close to a pocket. With the cueball on the cushion and the red obscured by the black, Selby got inventive.
The world number one went off four cushions to make perfect contact with the red.
