Ding Junhui beat Mark Selby 6-5 in the semi-final of the World Grand Prix on Saturday night.

The match actually ended after midnight. That was partially down to a lengthy tenth frame which saw Selby level it at 5-5.

Down 61-23 in the tenth, Ding was not going to allow his opponent have the frame easily. He was in need of two snookers at that point and went in search of them.

One of them arrived when via moment of sheer brilliance from the 30-year-old Chinese player. It was one which even Mark Selby had to acknowledge.

Ding plays Ronnie O'Sullivan in the final today.
