After Zane Kirchner left South African rugby to join Leinster on a two year deal, you would expect there do be some disappointment from Bulls fans or at least for most fans to wish him the best after giving them six years of good service in Super Rugby. However its fair to say the reaction to Kirchner's departure has been fairly mixed.
These are the three English replies to the Blue Bulls Twitter announcement of Kirchner leaving. We understand this is a small sample size and Twitter is always likely to produce extreme and unreliable opinions but still the level of negativity might be a little worrying for Leinster fans.
@bluebullsrugby Yes! At last. Now we can get a real fullback in there.

South African rugby journalist Craig Ray who has been a contributor on Off The Ball in the past also described him as more solid than spectacular.
@woefulpunditry If it's a solid, risk averse and generally mistake-free player Leinster want, then he fits the bill.
