You're not getting away with this in the modern game.
We may only be five games into the 2021 Six Nations, but we already seen a second red card in this year's tournament.
Scotland outplayed Wales for the vast majority of the opening 50 minutes of their meeting in Edinburgh this evening, but they put themselves in a perilous with a reckless piece of play.
Zander Fagerson is the man who would get it, with the prop carelessly cleaning out a ruck. His shoulder clearly made contact with the head of Wyn Jones, and while the officials did admit the Welshman had moved his upper body just before the hit, it was not enough to downgrade it from a red card offence.

He could have little argument with the decision.
Of course, Peter O'Mahony would be sent off against Wales last week for a near identical incident. The Irishman was handed a three match ban for for his action, with a similar punishment for Fagerson here likely to rule him out of the remainder of the tournament.
