Timing is everything in life. This time last year, JJ Hanrahan made the choice to take a job offer in England. He spurned Munster for Northampton and by all accounts, has settled well into the rough and tumble world of the Aviva Premiership.
JJ has been sharing his thoughts on all things Premiership today, as well as making the case for why he should be in the Ireland squad for the next Six Nations, but one comment in particular will really infuriate the fans of his former club.
JJ Hanrahan:
"I've absolutely no doubts at all I made the right move. I've never played in front of a stadium sold out so regularly."— Cian Tracey (@CianTracey1) January 8, 2016
Take the knife out, JJ! While Hanrahan was obviously trying to describe the splendour of playing at a packed Franklin Gardens, his statements will not go down well amongst Munster fans, who all season have been confronting a sea of unoccupied seats at Thomond.
