The Pro14 has been rebranded to incorporate a couple of South African sides, but some of the old rivalries remain. Having hosted the Cheetahs at Thomond a week ago, Munster will this weekend face a far less novel clash in Wales. Read on for details on where to watch Munster V Ospreys.
Where to watch Munster V Ospreys?
The game is live on TG4 and Sky Sports Arena. Coverage starts on TG$ at 3.10, and ten minutes earlier on Sky.
What time is Munster v Ospreys?
It all kicks off at 3.15pm at the Liberty Stadium.
What is the Munster team to face Ospreys?
Rassie Erasmus has made one change from the side that walloped the Cheetahs: Tyler Blyendaal returns at fly-half, otherwise, it's how-you-were for Munster. Here's the team in full:
Andrew Conway, Darren Sweetnam, Chris Farrell, Jaco Taute, Alex Wootton; Tyler Bleyendaal – capt., Duncan Williams; Liam O’Connor, Rhys Marshall, Stephen Archer; Jean Kleyn, Billy Holland; Sean O’Connor, Tommy O’Donnell, Jack O’Donoghue.
Replacements: Niall Scannell, James Cronin, John Ryan, Fineen Wycherley, Robin Copeland, James Hart, Rory Scannell, Simon Zebo.
Elsewhere, Ospreys have named Dans Lydiate and Biggar among their starting XV. The former plays for the first time since ripping knee ligaments in November last year, while Biggar hasn't played since the Lions tour.
Dan Evans; Keelan Giles, Cory Allen, James Hook, Jeff Hassler; Sam Davies, Tom Habberfield; Paul James, Sam Parry, Ma'afu Fia, Bradley Davies, Lloyd Ashley, James King, Justin Tipuric (capt), Dan Baker.
Replacements: Scott Baldwin, Nicky Smith, Rhodri Jones, Adam Beard, Dan Lydiate, Matthew Aubrey, Dan Biggar, Kieron Fonotia
When did these sides last meet?
They met in last year's Pro12 semi-final, which Munster won convincingly (23-3) before having their wings clipped by Scarlets in the final.
Are Munster in form?
Yep. They have taken a maximum ten points from their opening two games, both facile wins against Treviso and the Cheetahs. This is their first away game of the season, however, and will face a side whose form is unconvincing: defeat to Glasgow last weekend followed a relatively narrow win against Zebre (22-13).
So a reminder in where to watch Munster v Ospreys: TG4 or Sky Sports Arena, with kickoff at 3.15pm.
