The European Cup returns this week, with Leinster kicking off the defence of their crown against Wasps at the RDS on Friday night. If you're not heading along then worry not - here are the details of where to watch Leinster vs Wasps.

Where to watch Leinster vs Wasps?

Whereas the games were once split between Sky and BT Sport, the latter has bought up all of the rights to the games this season. There will, however, be one game per week free to air on Virgin Media (Ireland) and Channel 4 (UK).

The Leinster game is live on BT Sport 2 from 7pm on Friday night.

Leinster injury update?

Leinster's only concern is over scrum-half Jamison Gibson-Park, who rolled his ankle in Saturday's league win over Munster in the Pro14. He will be assessed throughout the week and is in contention to play.

If he does miss out, it will at least make Leo Cullen's selection easier in one respect. Tournament rules compel Leinster to pick only two of Gibson-Park, Scott Fardy, and the irrepressible James Lowe. The latter has often been the fall-guy given the balance of Leinster's squad, but the winger was once again coruscating in the win over Munster.

Gibson-Park aside, Leinster have a full deck to choose from for the visit of Wasps.

Decent. Wasps are third in the Premiership table, with four wins and 19 points from six games. They are well adrift of the top two, however: Exeter and Saracens have 29 points each, with six wins from six. They did, however, lose their most recent game: at home to Gloucester.

A reminder on where to watch Leinster vs Wasps: the game is live on BT Sport 2 on Friday evening from 7pm.
