Andy Howell of Wales Online and the Western Mail told us a few weeks ago that Welsh players would predominate if a combined Welsh-Irish team (the last two Lions sides have almost been that of course) took the field.
The intervening weeks have done nothing too change his mind, despite Ireland's status as the only unbeaten side. And he appears to have gained a raft of new Irish followers since that tweet. He will reveal the names in due course.
I'd probably pick 5 or 6 Irish in a combined Welsh Irish team.

Welcome to my new Irish "friends". Coming up, strengths and weaknesses of Ire. Holding composite Welsh-Irish team back for later in week

He spoke to us about the upcoming Wales-Ireland game and his thoughts on the eventual destination of the Six Nations championship.
I began by asking what he thought of the Six Nations as a whole and Ireland and Wales' form in particular.
