While Ireland U20s got their job done with minimal scares against Georgia, things weren't so simple elsewhere.
With 20 minutes remaining in the pools, as many as three different teams could have been Ireland's opponents in their semi-final. New Zealand were in the driving seat as the best runners up, before a South African try leapfrogged them ahead of the Baby Blacks and into that best runners up spot. It means that New Zealand U20s miss the semi-finals for the very first time.
A minute later, England scored a penalty to take the lead against Australia, and they went ahead of Ireland in the seedings.
In the end it was simple. England's victory gives them the top seeding in the competition, and they get the right to face the impressive Baby Boks who claimed the best runners up spot.
Ireland will face Argentina, who beat the Boks - but did struggle against Japan in their final game.
The semi-finals will take place next Monday 20th June, with Ireland v Argentina kicking off at 5.30; and England v South Africa at 7.45.
