Perhaps there was a bit of needle to it, perhaps it was all just a joke between old friends but one way or another Brian O'Driscoll and Adam Ashley-Cooper had the rugby world (us included) acting like voyeuristic idiots over the past couple of days.
A bit of 'twitter beef' between two greats of the game will inevitably draw plenty of interest and while Ashley-Cooper's brother's interjection may have been a bit unnecessary, it all seemed to come to an end rather amicably with the Bordeaux back sharing O'Driscoll's sentiment that it was all for a bit of fun.
There was still a bit to come after this however.

Bravo. And as an aside, we can't help but wonder if Ian Madigan is seeing those bills fall to the floor and dreaming of what might be on its way next season.
