James Ryan, remember the name.
Widely tipped by many (including us here at Balls.ie) to be one of Irish rugby's rising stars, the big second-row produced a moment of defensive magic in the first half of Ireland U20's Six Nations clash with France U20.
With the French player collecting an offload and skipping a good two yards past the try-line, Ryan managed to get his massive hands on the ball and keep his opponent from touching down.
Incredible. Hard to deny that it's O'Connell-esque, and indeed the half-time analysis even compared him to Paulie.
While it was certainly disappointing to see France awarded a penalty try from the resulting scrum, that was soon forgotten as the extremely impressive Ryan crossed for a try just a minute later.
