It was a feisty affair between the English U20s and Welsh U20s in Bristol on Friday night. There were several coming-togethers - with a player from each side getting a yellow card. Wales continued their march to the Grand Slam with a comprehensive 16-42 win.
The man of the match was Wales number 8 Harrison Keddie, who scored a try in an all-action performance - but there is a strong argument to say that he shouldn't have been on the pitch to score that try.
Keddie was shown a yellow card for an extremely dangerous tackle on England flyhalf Matthew Protheroe, which saw Protheroe land on his head/neck:
It looks extremely bad to me, and would have to be a red card at worst. Lifting players and rotating them onto their head isn't acceptable.
Protheroe is Welsh-born and is being tipped to switch back to Wales for senior level, and was England's best player against Ireland U20s two weeks ago.
