Toulon captain Mathieu Bastareuad was sent off during his side's 28-27 Top 14 victory against Castres today.
It marks Toulon's first victory of the season and it was a sweet one at that, defeating last year's champions thanks to a Filipo Nakosi game-winning try.
However, their delight will be hindered by the lengthy ban set to hit Bastareaud, who can have few complaints with the decision. His forearm smash on Christophe Samson, who was lying on the ground at the time, resulted in a furious reaction from the Castres players and he was sent off. Samson was shown a yellow card.

Toulon also saw Rhys Webb and Anthony Belleau depart due to injury and thus are set to be weakened when travelling to Paul O'Connell's Stade Francais next week.
