You can't get any closer to losing your crown than this. Toulon haven't been knocked out of the European Cup since losing a quarter-final to Perpignan in 2011 but Wasps came agonisingly close to matching that feat at the Stade Felix Mayol earlier today.
A try from Guy Thompson with less than 15 minutes remaining gave the visitors a slender three-point lead against the three-time champions. A Wasps win would have been beneficial for Ulster as they look to secure one of the three runner up spots in the quarter-final but Toulon kept battering away at the opposition line until Drew Mitchell squeezed over for the winning score.
Toulon now know that a bonus point win away to Bath next weekend will see them top the pool.

The decisive try wasn't without controversy though, with many fans claiming they spotted a slight knock on at the base of the ruck before Mitchell crossed. We're not sure if it was, it seemed to come off the feet of the Toulon player at the ruck, what do you think?
