As the upper-arms race of International rugby marches on unperturbed, the game's emphasis on strength and staggering size has left the game increasingly resembling oversized, hulking hadrons colliding on the field to turnover possession/explore the possibility of uncovering the Higgs Boson and solving the mysteries of the universe.
While the senior pro game dedicates itself to future obsolescence, the Leinster School's Cup gets on with actual rugby, and, as a result, is still capable of furnishing forth sizzling displays of running rugby. Today's replay between Belvedere and Blackrock was such an example.
Here are some of the tries from a thrilling game, won 35-29 by Belvedere, courtesy of Setanta Sports' Twitter account.
