Ireland showed how good they are by responding so well to South Africa's first try. Rather than panic and get tired, they went looking for a try and got one.

Jamie Heaslip has his name on the scoresheet after a maul try - but it was a really really smart move from Ireland, and Heaslip in particular.

Rhys Ruddock is actually the person at the back of the maul. Heaslip collects it from the lineout taker Toner, and goes to feed it back to Ruddock.

But Heaslip never fully releases his grip on the ball, meaning he keeps himself onside. After Ireland get ahead of steam and start moving towards the line - Heaslip sees his opportunity to score and takes it.

Really smart play.
