On the basis of last weekend and, in many ways, the season as a whole, the sunshine and dry pitch in Galway might have been considered an advantage for Connacht's adventurous backline ahead of kick-off with their southern neighbours.
It was Munster who unlocked the opposition first at the Sportsground, however - a clever move finished off by a stunning solo effort by fullback Simon Zebo.
The try was converted by Johnny Holland, whose offload opened the Connacht rearguard initially before Jack O'Donoghue supplied Zebo for a try not too dissimilar to Matt Healy's in France last weekend...
Munster have since crossed for their second try of their first half, with Mike Sherry burrowing his way over in the corner.
