It didn't take long for Leinster to get points on the board in their opening Champions Cup tie with Wasps, Sean Cronin turning on the afterburners in the 7th to touch down for the first score of the match.
The curtain has been raised and of course it's the Champions!

A Lima Sopoaga penalty moments later left the scores at 7-3, but Wasps will be facing into the second half with Sopoaga in the sin bin for a deliberate knock when intercepting a Cronin pass on 40 minutes, though the Wasps player may feel hard done by as Cronin's pass appeared to be going forward before he slapped it down.
Nevertheless Leinster immediately made the man advantage count, with Luke McGrath touching down with the clock in the red. Leo Cullen's men are now 14-3 up going into the second half.
