The Leinster Schools quarter-final between Roscrea and St Mary's was an absolutely superb game of rugby that saw the 2015 Leinster Schools Senior Cup champions knocked out as St Marys secured a 32-29 victory.
The teams were tied at half-time but kicked into life in the second as they both exchanged some outstanding tries, with this individual effort from Tadhg Bird the pick of the bunch.

St Marys centre Tim MacMahon had punished some poor defending as his smart footwork evaded the onrushing defence to give them a 15-8 lead early in the second half.

St Marys have not won the competition since 2002 but have the firepower out wide to attack from just about anywhere on the pitch.
The result ensures we know three of the four teams going into the semi-final, with Clongowes playing St Michaels tomorrow to decide the final spot.
