Ireland powered back on course with a bonus-point victory over France on Sunday. It was a superb team performance which sets up a blockbuster finish against Wales next Saturday.
One of several stand-out showings was Munster flanker Peter O'Mahony. He operated as Ireland's main jumper in the line-out and was a menace at the breakdown. He did not back down from the challenge at any stage, including when he let his opinion of his French opponent, Étienne Falgou, be known in no uncertain terms.
"Fucking muppet."
Peter O Mahony is pure Cork, he just called a French player “ A Fucking Muppet” 😂😂

Big Peter O'Mahony never backs down from anything and is always the first in to back the man up

O'Mahony is a vocal leader in the team, and could also be heard at half-time effing and blinding as Ireland came out for the second half (4.33).
O'Mahony is set for a titanic battle next week, with the so-far magnificent combination of Justin Tipuric, Ross Moriarty and Josh Navidi set to offer stern back-row opposition.
They'll will have to be countered head-on. No better man.
